Your Mission:As an Electrical Instrumentation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our projects. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate: Work closely with internal customers to build strong relationships and ensure their needs are met.
- Install: Set up a variety of instrumentation across the site to capture customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot: Diagnose and repair legacy equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
- Partner: Collaborate with the BAE Systems supply chain and equipment suppliers to deliver top-notch solutions.
- Support Trials: Attend factory acceptance trials and submarine system trials, analyzing results as needed.
- Review: Conduct peer reviews and verification tasks as directed.
- Assist: Provide support for Certificate of Design activities and ensure compliance with safety and legislative requirements.
Essential:
- Strong Knowledge: Solid understanding of Electrical and Electronic Principles.
- Proficient Troubleshooting: Experience in diagnosing and repairing complex instrumentation systems.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to read and interpret technical and schematic drawings.
- Testing Expertise: Proven experience in defining and conducting test procedures.
- Problem Solver: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
- EngTech certification (or ability to meet EngTech requirements).

In this role, you’ll support senior and principal engineers during the development of testing regimes and verification activities for platform electronic systems. Your contributions will be vital in analyzing and producing technical reports that support system verification.
