Seeking a skilled Material Handler for our large-scale logistics center in Sacramento, California! In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials throughout the warehouse. Your duties will include operating forklifts and other machinery to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and stage orders for shipment. A strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles is required. Safety is our top priority; you must be knowledgeable in and strictly adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety vests, and steel-toed boots. This physically demanding position requires individuals with the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and operate heavy machinery safely and effectively. Valid forklift certification is required.
