Are you an energetic individual with a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Dallas, Texas. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves. Your efficiency and precision directly impact our customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations. This position requires a commitment to safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product information (SKU, quantity, description) matches the order requirements.
- Safely operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Conduct regular checks of pick areas to ensure accuracy and availability of stock.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors immediately.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the task.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to overall team goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to read and understand order specifications.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Must be able to perform physical activities, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting items up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
