Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move inventory and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securement of goods.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage.
- Support overall logistics operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified forklift operator with demonstrated experience.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to adhere to all company guidelines.
