Are you a fast and accurate worker? Our Cincinnati, Ohio facility is looking for dedicated Pickers/Packers to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing customer orders for shipment. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately selecting items from shelves, packaging them securely, and preparing them for dispatch. This is a hands-on position critical to our operational success. If you have a keen eye for detail and can work efficiently in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Package products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate hand-held scanning devices for inventory tracking.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure Safety.
- Adhere to all company policies, including the strict use of appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Requires the ability to perform sustained Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to the smooth running of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail is essential for order fulfillment.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and repetitive Lifting throughout the shift.
- Commitment to following Safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and logistics processes is beneficial.
