Join our busy logistics hub as a Warehouse Worker in New York City, New York! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to support our daily warehouse operations. This role is fundamental to ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will be involved in various tasks, from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping. If you thrive in a team environment and are ready to contribute to a critical supply chain, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages.
- Sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all goods.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Safety protocols.
- Assist with shipping preparations, including preparing labels and documentation.
- Adhere to all company policies, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Ability to handle consistent Lifting of packages and materials throughout the shift.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including significant Lifting.
- Willingness to follow instructions and Safety guidelines strictly.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment is beneficial.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
