This vital role supports the flow of goods within our warehouse, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and prepared for various stages of the supply chain. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation, and safely transporting materials to their designated storage areas. Efficient handling and organization of inventory are key to success in this position. The Material Handler will also assist in preparing materials for production or distribution, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly handled. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the correct use of handling equipment is essential. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. This role offers a chance to be part of a critical team that keeps our operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, loading and unloading trucks, conducting regular inventory checks, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses and gloves, is required. This role involves significant physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of items up to 75 pounds. We prioritize Safety in all our operations and provide ongoing training to ensure compliance with industry standards. You will be involved in the receiving, put-away, and retrieval processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Understanding the intricacies of logistics and supply chain management will be beneficial.
