The Inventory Control Specialist will conduct regular cycle counts, investigate inventory variances, and implement corrective actions. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and root causes of variances.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Manage stock adjustments and ensure accurate system updates.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to improve inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock rotation and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Generate reports on inventory status and performance.
- Assist in training new staff on inventory procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to interpret data and generate meaningful reports.
- Experience with lifting and moving inventory items.
- Commitment to safety protocols and responsible material handling.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
