Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Orlando, Florida? We are hiring for a key position within our logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move materials within our warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. Precision and adherence to safety regulations are critical in this role. You will ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with company Safety policies and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to designated storage or production areas.
- Stack and arrange materials in a secure and organized manner.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns immediately.
- Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting.
