In this role, you will be at the forefront of fulfilling customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately locating items in the warehouse, picking them according to order lists, and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position is vital to our logistics network, ensuring timely and correct delivery to our valued customers. - Receive and review order tickets to identify items to be picked.
- Navigate the warehouse to locate and retrieve specified products.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for transit.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all company policies, particularly regarding Safety and efficient logistics.
- Properly wear and utilize all required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Previous picking and packing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capacity for frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to following Safety procedures and wearing PPE.
- Understanding of warehouse best practices and logistics is a plus.
