Job Summary:
Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Houston, Texas, and play a vital role in our supply chain operations. This position is responsible for the efficient handling of inventory, ensuring that products are processed, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time. You will be involved in various aspects of the distribution process, from receiving goods to preparing them for outgoing shipments. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Unload trucks and safely transport goods to appropriate storage areas.
  • Accurately pick and pack items for customer orders using scanning technology.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including staging, labeling, and loading.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as trained and certified.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety standards.
  • Wear and maintain required PPE at all times while on the warehouse floor.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially those related to workplace safety and efficient logistics.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and wearing PPE.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain concepts is beneficial.
