We are seeking an efficient and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our state-of-the-art facility in San Jose, California. This role is integral to our logistics network, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receipt to dispatch. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will utilize various warehouse equipment and systems, with comprehensive training provided. We place a strong emphasis on safety, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying against documentation.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and mandatory PPE usage.
- Contribute to team efforts to achieve daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient logistics operation.
