This role is crucial for the smooth functioning of our distribution center, involving a wide range of tasks from receiving and stocking to order picking and shipping. You will be responsible for ensuring product integrity, maintaining an organized workspace, and upholding the highest standards of workplace safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock inventory in appropriate locations within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a primary focus on Safety .
- Proper use of mandatory PPE , including safety shoes and vests, is required.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, which may involve moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and operate various types of warehouse machinery.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols.
