Join our fast-paced warehouse team in San Jose, California, as a Warehouse Associate ! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to contribute to our daily logistics operations. This role is fundamental to the efficient functioning of our distribution center, involving a variety of tasks such as receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, and adhering to strict safety procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing company in the heart of Silicon Valley.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock shelves and designated areas with incoming goods.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety .
- Proper use of required PPE , including safety vests and steel-toed boots, is mandatory.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed, which may involve some Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred, but not required for motivated individuals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to operate various types of warehouse equipment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Knowledge of safety procedures is a plus.
