You'll be responsible for navigating the warehouse, identifying, and retrieving the correct items to fulfill customer orders, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely for shipment, protecting items from damage.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet productivity targets.
- Perform tasks that may require significant manual Lifting of products.
- Contribute to the seamless flow of our Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Basic math and reading skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols. Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
