Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or electronic scanning devices.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as needed to retrieve and transport goods (certification may be provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and general warehouse area.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations, including the mandatory use of required PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Experience with manual Lifting of various product weights is essential.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Dexterity and good hand-eye coordination. Basic reading and math skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong commitment to workplace Safety. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. A cooperative attitude and ability to work well within a team structure. Understanding of basic Logistics principles is a plus.
