We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Phoenix, Arizona facility. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory management systems, which is fundamental to our Logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize stock errors. Maintaining a meticulously organized and safe warehouse environment is paramount. The position requires a sharp analytical mind, proficiency with inventory software, and the ability to perform physical checks which may include some Lifting . We strictly enforce all Safety regulations and expect the consistent use of PPE . This is a key role where your attention to detail directly impacts efficiency and profitability. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential issues.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of inventory within the warehouse.
- Assist in training warehouse staff on inventory control procedures.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE .
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to procedures.
