Are you a motivated individual looking for a challenging role in warehouse operations? We have an exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in St. Louis, Missouri. In this key position, you will be responsible for both accurately picking items for customer orders and efficiently packing them for shipment. Your precision and speed are essential to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. You will work with a dedicated team in a dynamic logistics environment. This role involves a variety of physical tasks, including significant Lifting and requires a strong understanding of packing materials and methods. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is paramount, and adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE , is expected. We offer a positive work culture and opportunities for skill development. Your contribution is vital to our daily Logistics functions.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory according to order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the packing station and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE .
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform repetitive Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and proficiency in packing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of Logistics and shipping processes.
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
