Our Seattle, Washington facility is looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their correct orders accurately and promptly. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or electronic pick tickets. This role demands a high level of focus, speed, and accuracy. You will work with a variety of products and will be expected to maintain an organized workstation and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer orders accurately using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Navigate warehouse aisles to locate and retrieve specified items.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies and assisting in stock checks.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure optimal safety.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed to support overall logistics functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to work quickly and accurately in a warehouse setting.
- Must be able to perform continuous standing, walking, and reaching.
- Comfortable with lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to safety standards and workplace conduct.
