This is a specialized role focused on maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse infrastructure and equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various warehouse systems, including conveyors, sortation equipment, automated storage systems, and material handling machinery. Your technical expertise will ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity within our logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to preventative maintenance. Experience with industrial equipment and a solid understanding of warehouse safety standards are essential. We prioritize a secure working environment, and you will be expected to follow all safety protocols, including the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all tasks. While the role is primarily technical, occasional manual tasks, including Lifting of components up to 40 lbs, may be required. Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and parts used.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Conduct safety checks on equipment and identify potential hazards.
- Support the logistics team in ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
- Occasionally assist with tasks involving moderate Lifting of equipment parts.
