Join our growing logistics team as a Receiving Clerk in Tampa, Florida! We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented individual to manage the inbound flow of goods into our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include accurately unloading incoming shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and verifying documentation against received orders. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all received items are processed efficiently and accurately into our inventory system. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. You will be working as part of a dedicated team focused on maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all employees are required to strictly follow safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of boxes and materials up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight efficiently and safely.
- Inspect all incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately record all received items into the inventory management system.
- Report any damages or shortages to the appropriate personnel.
- Organize and stage received goods for put-away.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Participate in daily team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Occasional manual Lifting may be required.
