We are seeking dedicated Fulfillment Associates to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. This role is key to our e-commerce **logistics** success, focusing on the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, contributing to a seamless customer experience while maintaining high **safety** standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order details.
- Pack orders with care and efficiency, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as scanners and hand trucks, following **safety** procedures.
- Assist with **Lifting** and moving of products and packages, typically up to 40 lbs.
- Maintain a tidy and **safe** work environment, adhering to all **safety** protocols.
- Participate in inventory checks and stock put-away processes.
- Wear all mandated **PPE** at all times during work hours.
- Support broader **logistics** tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a consistent pace in a dynamic setting.
- Demonstrated understanding of **safety** practices in a warehouse context.
- Willingness to comply with **PPE** requirements.
- Basic knowledge of **logistics** workflows is helpful.
- Capability for tasks involving standing and **Lifting**.
