We are seeking a motivated and reliable Order Picker to join our growing logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in accurately and efficiently retrieving products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed directly contribute to our operational success and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick products from warehouse locations based on order details.
- Verify picked items against order forms or scanner data to ensure accuracy.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to a supervisor promptly.
- Safely operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet established productivity goals for order picking.
- Assist with other warehouse functions such as stocking, consolidation, or outgoing quality checks.
- Demonstrate commitment to efficient logistics and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- A proactive approach to Safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Basic math and communication skills are essential.
