This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that products are handled efficiently and accurately from receipt to shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Sort, categorize, and stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment using RF scanners and other technology.
- Prepare items for shipping, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with inventory control.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all regulations.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with loading trucks for outgoing shipments.
- Contribute to team goals and work collaboratively to meet operational demands in our logistics center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Proficiency in using warehouse technology and scanning equipment.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be willing to wear and maintain required PPE.
- Experience in logistics is a plus.
