Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans to restore vehicles to factory specifications.
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, sanding, and finishing using hand tools and power tools.
- Execute auto painting tasks utilizing airless paint spraying techniques for a flawless finish.
- Conduct welding operations such as MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication to repair or replace damaged parts.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance tasks related to auto restoration and assembly.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, including auto estimating documentation and customer service notes.
Qualifications
- experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred.
- Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto repair equipment.
- Familiarity with auto painting processes such as airless paint spraying and detailing for a high-quality finish.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including auto restoration, auto glass installation, and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and estimates.
- Experience with auto estimating software is a plus; mechanical or mechanic experience is advantageous. - Repair vehicles to their pre-accident condition
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience. Pay is dependent on experience.
Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
