As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol - Overnights in Grove City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team, and provide customer service with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, docks, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor inbound and outbound truck and trailer activity, assist with access control at gates, and document arrivals, departures, and exceptions per post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or public services as required.
• Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and activity logs, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
