Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of DMS Commercial Janitorial Services. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and expanding our market presence.
Prior experience in the janitorial or commercial cleaning industry is required
, as it will enable the candidate to leverage industry knowledge and contacts to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
**Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities:** Research and analyze market trends, target new clients, and develop strategies to grow the business.
**Client Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
**Sales Strategy Development:** Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
**Market Analysis:** Conduct market analysis to identify competitive landscape, emerging trends, and potential areas for business expansion.
**Collaboration with Operations:** Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
**Contract Negotiation:** Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
**Brand Promotion:** Promote the DMS brand through networking, attending industry events, and participating in trade shows.
**Reporting:** Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market feedback for senior management.
Qualifications:
**Experience:** Minimum of 3-5 years of business development experience, preferably in the commercial janitorial or cleaning services industry.
**Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
**Skills:**
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
**Industry Knowledge:** In-depth understanding of the commercial janitorial services industry.
