JOB OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES

We're looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing team. This role is perfect for a creative, detail-oriented designer who is passionate about branding and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll work closely with our founder/lead designer to deliver high-quality visual solutions across client projects, including packaging, marketing collateral, and social media design.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing design concepts for client branding projects (logos, identity systems, style guides).
• Create layouts and artwork for packaging designs that align with brand strategies.
• Design marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, business cards, and digital/web assets.
• Support social media content creation, including graphics, templates, and campaign visuals.
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables.
• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm ideas and contribute fresh perspectives.
• Support the art direction process by contributing ideas and executing visual concepts aligned with brand guidelines.
• Stay up to date on design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Verify that all images and files are prepared and optimized for print production and digital use
• Work closely with senior designer, social media manager and clients to ensure brand designs are both functional and visually appealing
• Knowledge of website design and/or management (Squarespace or Shopify) is a HUGE bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–2+ years of professional design experience (internship or freelance experience welcome).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Familiarity with Canva is a plus.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction and brand guides.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
• A high degree of ownership & accountability
• Portfolio showcasing branding, packaging, and social media work (student or freelance projects accepted).
