AC Hotel Valet Supervisor

Valet shift hours: 24/7 operation

Morning shifts: 7am-3pm

Evening shifts: 3pm-11pm

Overnight shifts: 11pm-7am

Shift Coverage: Primary responsibility will be supervision of morning shifts, with evening and overnight shift supervision required on an as-needed basis.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer service-oriented Valet Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the parking area, ensuring a smooth and efficient parking experience for our guests. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. As a Valet Supervisor, you will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction while maintaining the safety and organization of the parking facility.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining adequate staffing
• Maintaining call out coverage
• Creating schedule each week
• Filling out a payroll and KPI spreadsheet each week
• Supervising each shift effectively for 40 hours per week (subject to increase based upon need for callout coverage)
• Delegating tasks to employees
• Attending weekly Managers meetings
• Providing the best customer service through positivity, enthusiasm and happiness
• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with parking their vehicles in designated areas.
• Handle cash transactions for parking fees and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding parking policies and procedures.
• Assist with retrieving vehicles for guests upon request, ensuring timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area to provide a welcoming environment.
• Monitor vehicle flow to optimize space utilization and minimize wait times.
• NO CLAIMS/ACCIDENTS ARE ACCEPTABLE WHILE EMPLOYED
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of customer service are met.
• Training and holding team members accountable to the high standards SafeParc has.

Experience

• Previous experience in valet parking or as a Valet Supervisor is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Experience handling cash transactions is advantageous.
• Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including manual transmission vehicles, is preferred.
• Experience as a delivery driver or in a dealership setting can be beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
