Beverage Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

At Bottle 'N Brew, we're passionate about great juice and even better client experiences. We're looking for someone upbeat, motivated, and excited to learn about beer, wine, and spirits. This role is about more than just stocking shelves – it's about building confidence, sharing knowledge, and helping every client leave with a smile.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

· Share product knowledge with customers and guide them toward great choices.

· Keep our shelves stocked, organized, and looking awesome.

· Maintain clean, fresh, and welcoming spaces throughout the store.

· Help customers quickly and efficiently at checkout – and always with a smile.

· Check IDs to make sure we're serving only those 21+.

· Assist with pricing, ordering, and receiving new inventory.

· Support the team with tastings, sampling, and product education events.

· Follow our security and safety protocols to keep everything running smoothly.

· Upsell products to increase sales and promote new menu items effectively.

· Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations.

· Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling.

· Other duties as required.

WHAT YOU BRING

· A friendly, customer-first attitude.

· Patience and the ability to handle any type of customer interaction.

· Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

· Reliability – you've got dependable transportation and show up on time.

· Over 21 years old (required).

· Experience in retail, warehouse, or the beverage industry (preferred but not required).

· Previous experience in food service, café, or retail environments is preferred.

· Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

· Experience in quick service & fast-food restaurants or grocery stores is advantageous.

· Strong skills in order preparation, cashiering, and customer service are essential.

· Basic math skills including retail math and cash handling are required for accurate transactions.

· Experience with upselling techniques and sales strategies will be beneficial for success in this role.

PHYSICAL ABILITY

· Comfort working in cold and hot environments (cooler, freezer, outdoors).

· Ability to bend, lift, and carry items from ground to overhead.

· Capable of lifting heavy items regularly.

· Standing, stooping, or walking for the majority of your shift.

· Performing cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour
