Group Coordinator I

Night Shift $1 Differential Pay

4PM -12:30 PM

Litchfield Park, AZ 85340

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates activities of assigned group
  • Examines work of the assigned group and ensures loads are completed accurately
  • Assures the orderly flow of work within assigned group
  • Assists Supervisor in ensuring productivity and quality of work of assigned group are within targets
  • Assigns or reassigns work to other employees as needed or as authorized
  • Instructs and directs employees in proper method and procedures
  • Facilitates staging amongst employees on the floor
  • Brings safety concerns to Supervisor's attention
  • Communicates inventory or damaged discrepancies to Supervisor
  • Ensures all materials are available as needed
  • Facilitates unloading of trailers according to Supervisor instructions
  • Verifies trailers are in appropriate dock
  • Inspects tail end of outbound trailers ensuring secure outbound loads
  • Assists Supervisor in ensuring drivers follow all safety procedures
  • Assists employees with any issues that arise
  • Communicates effectively with third party contractors and customers
  • Completes all reports using Korber
  • Updates Yard Check
  • Checks item availability as needed
  • Understands and executes RGR rebox process
  • Understands and executes LTL process
  • Understands and executes all inbound and outbound processes
  • Completes cycle count checks
  • Creates labels for various products, purposes, and warehouse locations
  • Maintains housekeeping in all departments
  • Performs all duties in compliance to appropriate safety and security standards
  • Safely operates forklift with or without basiloid to load, unload, and move product when required
  • Changes basiloid attachment as required
  • Waters batteries as required
  • Performs minor maintenance duties around warehouse
  • Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain professional relationships

Qualifications
Performs other related duties as required and assigned

  • Forklift Certified
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Two years of experience in a lead or supervisory position preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of distribution warehouse procedures
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deal with numerous interruptions
  • Strong interpersonal and communicative skills with all levels of the organization
  • Organized, detail oriented, accurate, and self-motivated
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and/or facts and recommendations effectively
  • Must satisfactorily complete requirements for Distribution Center Representative III, including time in grade requirements
  • Pass skills test with 80% or higher
  • Achieve "Above/Exceeds Expectations" in all performance evaluation categories with a score of 20 or higher

Occasional overtime as required by the job/tasks/business
