Overview
Lincoln Glen Manor is seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations within our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards while supervising housekeeping staff and supporting a well-organized department. The ideal candidate has prior supervisory experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting and understands the importance of infection control and resident-centered environments.
Duties
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations in resident rooms and common areas
- Assign work schedules and ensure tasks are completed according to standards
- Train, support, and monitor housekeeping staff performance
- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Ensure proper use, storage, and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow and enforce infection control and safety procedures
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to leadership
- Support room turnovers, deep cleaning, and special projects as needed
- Maintain documentation related to housekeeping schedules and inspections
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience required
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, healthcare, or hospitality settings preferred
- Knowledge of infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Ability to lead, train, and communicate clearly with staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
