Position Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible STEM Teaching Assistants to support our STEAM education programs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with lead instructors to help teach students from elementary to high school in subjects like robotics, coding, and hands-on STEAM projects.

What You'll Do
- Assist lead teachers in delivering in-person lessons and activities for students ages 6–18
- Help manage the classroom, support student engagement, and encourage positive learning behaviors
- Support students during hands-on robotics building, programming, and project work
- Help prepare and organize materials, tools, and classroom setups
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students who need extra help
- Assist in setting up and running classroom and in-house robotics competitions
- Maintain cleanliness, inventory, and proper use of robotics tools and materials
- Provide feedback to lead teachers and staff on student progress and classroom needs
What You'll Bring
Required:
- Passion for working with children and teens
- Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to travel to campus locations independently
- Must be 18 years or older with a clean background check
Preferred:
- Experience working with children or in a classroom setting
- Interest or background in STEAM, engineering, robotics, or coding
- Familiarity with VEX, LEGO, or FIRST robotics platforms is a plus
- Knowledge of basic programming (e.g., C++, Python, Scratch) is helpful
- Mandarin Chinese language skills are a plus
