Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cannabis Production Technician specializing in solventless hash production to join our team. This role is hands-on and physically demanding, involving the preparation, processing, and packaging of solventless cannabis extracts such as ice water hash and rosin. Candidates should be passionate about cannabis, committed to quality, and comfortable working in a highly regulated, production-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute all aspects of solventless hash production, including: ice water extraction, freeze-drying, rosin pressing, product collection and packaging.
• Operate and maintain freeze dryers, rosin presses, and other industry standard lab equipment.
• Collect, weigh, and package finished product with precision and consistency
• Lift and move heavy materials and equipment (50+ lbs) throughout the shift
• Work on your feet for extended periods, with regular bending, lifting, stooping, and repetitive motions
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized lab and work area
• Handle exposure to strong terpene aromas and cleaning agents in the lab
• Follow strict SOPs and regulatory guidelines to ensure product and facility compliance
• Accurately document process steps, weights, and yields for tracking and reporting
• Collaborate with our small team to improve workflow and product consistency

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with solventless hash production or cannabis extraction preferred (but not required if willing to train the right person)
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more consistently throughout the shift
• Comfortable standing, stooping, and performing repetitive motions for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness in a lab or production setting
• Knowledge of cannabis flower quality, trichome structure, and extraction fundamentals is a plus
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a background check as required by state regulations
• Must be comfortable working in environments with strong terpenes and cleaning chemicals

Work Environment:

This position takes place in a cold, humid lab environment (for ice water extraction) and may also require time in warm rooms (for pressing and packaging). You must be comfortable in varied temperature conditions and physically demanding settings.
