Summary

We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Floating Kitchen Manager at Rusty Lantern Markets for our West District. This position is vital in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service while enjoying our diverse, fresh range of food and craft beverage options. This position travels throughout the Turner, Bethel, West Paris, Oxford and Norway, Maine to ensure that each kitchen is being properly trained and managed. Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control to ensure product availability and minimize waste.
• Acts as the Kitchen Manager if there is no kitchen manager on site.
• Assist in managing daily operations within the store to maintain high standards of customer service.
• Prepare and serve coffee and other craft beverage options according to company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation areas.
• Train new staff on food service management practices and customer interaction techniques.
• Monitor sales trends and adjust inventory as necessary to meet customer demand.

Requirements

• Must have a valid drivers license and daily use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible and able to travel to multiple stores within a 55 mile area - gas will be reimbursed from home (assigned at the time of interview/hire).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and customer engagement.
• Experience in coffee preparation or barista roles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with the food industry standards and regulations is essential.
