Position Overview

Vitality Med Spa is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Assistant / Sales Consultant Intern to support Dr. Kennedy and the Vitality team during a maternity leave period.

This internship is ideal for someone interested in aesthetics, patient care, skincare, or the medical spa industry. You will gain hands-on exposure to clinical operations, patient interaction, skincare education, and the consultative sales process.

The intern will work under close supervision and is not expected to perform full medical assistant duties independently. This is a learning-focused role designed to provide real-world experience in a fast-paced, high-end medical spa environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Patient Support

• Assist with patient flow and prepping treatment rooms.
• Observe Dr. Kennedy during procedures to learn clinical processes.
• Learn how to capture and upload before/after photos into patient charts.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment environment.
• Assist with basic room turnover tasks under supervision.

Patient Experience & Education

• Greet patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Support check-in and check-out procedures as trained.
• Observe consultations to understand treatment plans and patient goals.
• Learn about skincare products, treatment pairings, and service recommendations.

Sales & Administrative Support

• Assist in preparing treatment materials, skincare displays, and educational resources.
• Observe and learn the consultative sales process used by Dr. Kennedy and the Vitality team.
• Assist with event setup for Botox parties, open houses, and in-office promotions.
• Learn how KPIs, sales goals, and treatment plans are tracked in a medical spa setting.

Requirements

• Current student, recent graduate, or individual seeking experience in medical aesthetics, healthcare, sales, medical assisting, or esthetics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and be coachable.
• Interest in aesthetics, patient care, skincare, or medical sales.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
