Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Training Development Manager with BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs focused on behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis. In this role, you will develop comprehensive training curricula tailored for BCBAs and clinical supervisors at Phoenix Autism Center. This roles focuses on strengthening leadership skills, supervision practices, and clinical decision-making to ensure consistent, ethical, and effective treatment aligned with BACB standards, payer requirements, and Phoenix Autism Center's values. Your expertise will empower our team members to deliver high-quality patient care, conduct accurate assessments, and utilize data collection methods effectively. This position plays a critical role in developing future for clinical leaders, improving treatment quality, and supporting long-term organizational growth through structured education and performance-based training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Onboarding and Core Clinical Training
Design, deliver, and evaluate onboarding and ongoing training sequences for BCBAs and clinical supervisors
Develop and implement supervision competency training aligned with BACB and Phoenix Autism Center standards
Train staff on case conceptualization and treatment planning, data-based decision making, and clinical problem-solving
Provide training on staff performance management and leadership oversight
Deliver parent training and caregiver collaboration education
Curriculum and Content Development
Develop and maintain learning content in multiple formats including in-person training, virtual training, online modules, and job aids
Ensure all training content remains current with BACB guidelines, ethical requirements, supervision best practices, and payer standards
Performance Monitoring and Data-Driven Training
Track training participation, competency outcomes, and skill acquisition related to BCBA and clinical supervisor key performance indicators
Use clinical and performance data to guide ongoing training revisions and program improvement
Quality Assurance and Clinical Excellence Support
Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Excellence to identify training gaps and provide targeted coaching to clinical supervisors
Support implementation of evidence-based practices through structured observation and feedback
Assist with quality assurance processes including treatment plan reviews, behavior intervention plan fidelity, and program implementation accuracy
Ensure training initiatives directly improve clinical quality and client outcomes
Provide case-based clinical consultation when applicable
Leadership and Collaboration
Work closely with Center Directors and executive leadership to align training initiatives with Phoenix Autism Center's clinical and operational goals
Model leadership behaviors and promote a supportive, accountable, learning-focused, and solution-oriented culture
Support leadership development across all clinical supervisory levels
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Active Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state of Arizona
Extensive experience using CentralReach
3–5 years of client-facing BCBA leadership experience in a clinic-based setting
Strong clinical foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
Intrinsically motivated with the ability to work independently
Solution-focused mindset and leadership presence
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in clinical training, staff development, or quality assurance
- Experience supporting multi-site clinic operations
- Experience designing structured leadership development and training programs
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to work in a clinical, office, and training environment
- Combination of in-person and remote work as operationally required
- Regular observation of clinical teams and treatment sessions
- Occasional travel between Phoenix Autism Center locations may be required
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office and clinical equipment
Professional Standards and Compliance
- Maintains ethical practice in accordance with BACB standards and Phoenix Autism Center policies
- Maintains confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and all applicable state and federal regulations
- Adheres to Phoenix Autism Center policies, procedures, and professional conduct standards
Pay: $80, $90,000.00 per year
