The
Addictions Counselor
provides direct patient care and is responsible for monitoring and delivering high quality services to dually diagnosed/chemically dependent patients. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and-therapeutic milieu; assessment and documentation of progress/digress in treatment; delivering individual and group educational services, crisis intervention and full participation with the multidisciplinary team toward meeting a patient's treatment plan objectives.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor or Associates degree in a related mental health discipline from an accredited college
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with experience in a chemical dependency and or mental health treatment setting
