Crown Heights Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Certified
Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the team at our Skilled Nursing
Facility in Brooklyn, NY

The Allure Group is a consortium
of six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY, specializing
in post-acute and sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation. We pride
ourselves on providing a high standard of care for patients of all ages and
conditions while upholding an environment of kindness, dignity, and respect for
employees and residents. As a Certified
Occupational Therapist Assistant
at The Allure Group, you would be part of
a winning team doing meaningful work to improve residents' quality of life,
health, and comfort.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities

  • Work under the
    supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to assist with treatment
    programs
  • Record treatment in
    medical records
  • Communicates with interdisciplinary
    team members regarding resident progress, problems, and plans
  • Records daily
    treatments and labor according to facility procedure
  • Instructs families and
    staff in maintenance or home exercise programs
  • Coordinate with
    inter-departmental personnel

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Requirements

  • Degree from an
    American Occupational Therapy Association Accredited School of Occupational
    Therapy
  • Current NYS licensure
  • COVID-19 Vaccination

Preferred

  • Previous experience in
    post-acute/long-term care
