Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Nashville, Tennessee. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency and technical integrity of our warehouse equipment and systems. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring all machinery operates safely and effectively. Your expertise will be vital to our Logistics operations, minimizing downtime and optimizing workflow. We prioritize the utmost Safety for our team, providing all necessary PPE and comprehensive training on equipment operation and maintenance procedures. While technical skills are paramount, this role may also involve some physical tasks, such as inspection and minor repairs, potentially including occasional Lifting . Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment (conveyors, sorters, forklifts, etc.).
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Properly use and maintain all required PPE .
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunction calls.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of the Logistics operations.
  • Train other staff on basic equipment operation and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar technical role within a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics technology.
  • Commitment to rigorous Safety standards and proper use of PPE .
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
