We are hiring a Warehouse Worker to join our bustling distribution center in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a fundamental role in our logistics operations, responsible for the efficient handling and processing of goods. You will perform a variety of hands-on tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Sort, organize, and store products accurately within the warehouse.
- Pick items for customer orders according to pick lists or scanner instructions.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all company safety policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Wear and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
