Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting procedures.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all merchandise.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the logistics department.
- Assist in other warehouse functions as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
