We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Sacramento, California. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and contribute to the overall success of our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and put away incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to established safety protocols.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE , including safety shoes and vests.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety .
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
