Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Operate equipment safely and demonstrate proper use to other staff.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist in the installation or modification of warehouse equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in a warehouse environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is beneficial.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and practices in an industrial setting.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and functional work environment.
