Our San Francisco, California warehouse is looking for certified and experienced Forklift Operators to join our dedicated logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. Your role is critical in ensuring the smooth flow of operations and maintaining a high level of productivity. We require operators who are highly skilled, safety-conscious, and possess a strong work ethic. This is an excellent chance to contribute to a vital part of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload palletized goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and organize inventory accurately.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines for forklift operation and general warehouse safety.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility clothing.
