We are looking for enthusiastic Order Pickers to join our logistics operations in Sacramento, California. This role involves the precise and timely retrieval of products to fulfill customer orders. You'll work within a busy warehouse, using advanced scanning technology to identify and gather items. Accuracy is key to ensuring our clients receive exactly what they ordered. This position requires individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high standards of productivity and safety. Responsibilities:
- Select items from warehouse locations based on order specifications and scanner guidance.
- Confirm item accuracy, quantity, and condition before moving to packing.
- Stage picked items for consolidation and shipment.
- Keep picking areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory checks when required.
- Achieve established picking performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Capability to stand, walk, and reach for the duration of shifts.
- Must be able to handle regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems is advantageous.
- Demonstrated reliability and a proactive attitude.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime, including weekends.
- Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- A strong emphasis on safety in all tasks.
