We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Order Pickers to join our dynamic logistics team in Sacramento, California. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring timely and correct deliveries. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a handheld scanner or other picking technology to locate and retrieve items. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and maintain inventory accuracy. This position offers a great opportunity to grow within the logistics industry. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a scanner or pick list.
- Verify product information, quantities, and item codes.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
