Join our bustling warehouse in Boston, Massachusetts as a Material Handler! We are looking for strong, reliable individuals to manage the movement of goods within our facility. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, move, and stack materials. Your role is essential for maintaining efficient workflow and inventory organization within our logistics hub. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments. A valid forklift certification is preferred, but training may be available for exceptional candidates. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety procedures and the correct usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is mandatory. This role requires physical strength and endurance, involving frequent lifting of heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and continuous operation of heavy machinery. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE .
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize material flow.
