Join our fast-paced Phoenix, Arizona facility as a Receiving Clerk! We are seeking organized and diligent individuals to manage the incoming flow of goods into our warehouse. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately logging all received items into our system. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that inventory is accurately accounted for from the moment it enters our facility. You will work closely with vendors, delivery personnel, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. Attention to detail and accuracy are critical. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management software and be comfortable working in a warehouse environment. Proper handling of merchandise and adherence to all safety procedures, including the consistent use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), are mandatory. This role involves moderate physical activity, including the lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods. Key Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect incoming inventory for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received items in the inventory management system.
- Tag and route received goods to appropriate warehouse areas.
- Communicate with suppliers and carriers regarding shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE .
