As an Order Picker, you will navigate the warehouse using scanning devices to locate and retrieve products for shipment. Precision and efficiency are key in this role to ensure customer satisfaction. Your daily tasks will involve reading pick lists or scanning item codes, locating the correct items within the warehouse, confirming quantities, and safely transporting items to the packing station. You will also be responsible for maintaining the organization of your assigned picking zones and contributing to a clean and safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Locate products within the warehouse efficiently and safely.
- Verify product codes and quantities before confirming picks.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Meet daily picking quotas and performance standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, bending, and Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting with potentially varying temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and scanning technology is beneficial.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Understanding of logistics processes is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
